The news of the death of  Ambassador Orie Rogo Manduli at her Riverside home following an undisclosed illness hit Kenyans hard.

She will forever be remembered for her confidence, fashion sense and hairdo. She lived the soft life before we all came to know about it. Actually, if you think about it, she is the SI unit of 'babyghurl'.

Khaligraph who did a song, Hao, about a year ago featuring Masauti mentioned Orie Rgo Manduli in one of his verses saying he wishes to get such kind of confidence as a celebrity because it can be tough.

That seemed to have excited her because she reached out to him and they even planned a link-up but unfortunately, it did not come to pass.

Taking to social media, Papa Jones mourned the late saying,

"About 2 months ago. I Received a Call from The Late Orie Rogo Manduli and she Told me how she Loved The Song *Hao* and we even planned to link up for a chat after She was Discharged from Hospital but it seems God had other plans, unfortunately, she passed on Today before our plan Came to be, May she Rest in peace. 🙏🙏 See you on the other side."

Manduli who often described herself as “lioness in her cage", will also be remembered as the first woman of African descent to participate in the East African Safari Rally in 1974 and 1975.

Kiss 100 family sends their message of condolences to Orie Rongo Manduli's family and friends.
