This morning, Kamene shocked Jalas when she narrated a story of a Nyeri man who traveled all the way to Voi to see a lady only for the entire trip to end prematurely.
She said the plan was for him to spend the entire time at the lady’s so called ‘house’ and it turned out the apartment wasn’t hers.
When the owner came calling, the lady had to reveal the truth and asked the man to leave!
As much as Jalang’o felt bad for the young bloke, he wondered why he would go all the way to Voi to meet a chic in ‘her’ house and not book a hotel instead. That is when he decided to call out every man who thinks it is cool to sleep at a woman’s house.
“As a man talking about the things you should never do, there is no day you are gonna sleep at a woman’s house. More so if you have never paid for anything in that house or you don’t know who pays rent,” said Jalas.
He says there is that sense of ownership or freedom when you know you pay for a woman’s rent but he says even if that is the case, no man is supposed to sleep at a woman’s house.
He says one thing is there is no way you’ll be able to sleep soundly.
Kamene argued that there is no problem with sleeping at a woman’s house but the most important thing to do first is do a thorough investigation on who pays her rent and all that.
“Ma boychild sahizi wanazunguka hapa hivi asubuhi wakiendesha magari za madem tuwaambie nini?” wondered Kamene.
