Nigerian crooner, Omah Lay has set the record straight on rumors that he is dating Kenyan songbird, Tanash Donna.
A while back, rumors were rife that the two were dating after Tanasha was spotted hanging out with the 'Understand' singer.
Addressing the rumor, Omah Lay who is set to perform in the country today revealed that he once had a Kenyan lover but he is now single.
"First I am single I said I had a Kenyan girlfriend but I am single and I never had a girlfriend and I don’t wanna talk about the rumors on Instagram. Those were rumors and I think they were handled the way they were handled." Said Omah Lay.
Omah Lay's star has been shining ever since he broke into the scene a few years back.
He says he is a fan of Sauti Sol and when asked whether there was a possibility of him working with Otile Brown he didn't rule it out, saying he would as long as the 'vibe is right.'
I can’t guarantee that like 100% but I am in Kenya because there’s definitely a relationship between Kenya and Nigeria and that’s what we are trying to build.
Definitely for me if the vibe is right I will definitely do something with him.
Omah Lay said he was looking forward to touring Kenya as a way of reciprocating the love that his Kenyan fans have shown him over the years and is looking forward for the experience while on stage.
I know I want to come to Kenya because I get a lot of love there Is so much love coming from Kenya, I mean I have a lot of fans from Kenya and definitely I want to connect with my fans.
For me it’s not just about the money or the publicity I wanna connect with my fans I’ll do whatever to see my fans.
