Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal shocked many days ago when he revealed that despite his massive wealth he is not planning to give his kids money just because he has it.
He said his kids have to earn education certificates then if they want their dad to invest in one of their companies then he would sit down and listen to their proposals.
“My kids are older now. They’re kind of upset with me, not really upset but they don’t understand. I tell them all the time, ‘We ain’t rich. I’m rich.” Said O’Neal.
Inspired by that, Jalang’o chose to pose the million dollar question to his listeners; ‘Who would you be without your parent’s support?’
“Who are you without your father’s name? What are you trying to build for yourself without your family’s support?” asked Jalang’o.
Jalang’o mentioned some bizarre stories of how some kids even kill their parents for ‘taking too long to die’ because they are after their parents wealth.
“What are you doing for yourself to detach yourself from your parent’s inheritance so that in case you are not included in their will you’ll be able to stand on your own?”
He encouraged each and everyone of us to go out there and create our own wealth because there is a chance for everyone.
