It's awards season again and we couldn't be any happier as our very own song bird Nikita Kering and legendary group, Sauti Sol scooped coveted awards at the Afrima awards.
Kering took home two gongs for the 'Best Artiste Rnb and Soul' category and 'Best Female Artiste East Africa' categories.
Sauti Sol added another award to their already ballooning collection after they were voted 'Best African Group.'
Kering beat the likes of Nandy and Zuchu from Tanzania and her fellow countrymen Nadia Mukami and Tanasha Donna to the best female East Africa award.
Sauti Sol on the other hand fought off competition Toofan from Togo, Calema from Sao Tome, Mi Casa from South Africa and cavemen from Nigeria.
Reacting immediately after collecting her beautiful awards, Kering who was in Nigeria where the ceremony went down wrote;
