On Sunday, 12th December, gospel artiste Size 8 was officially ordained as a preacher. The ordination comes 8 years since the mother of two quit secular music and got saved.

Ordination in Christian churches is a rite for the dedication and commissioning of ministers.

An elated Size 8 who was accompanied by hubby DJ Mo and her family members penned down an emotional post testifying of God's doings in her life for the past 8 years.

She says many had written her off when she received Christ as her savior and never expected her to last a week in salvation.

"Am overwhelmed by the doing of God thru Jesus Christ in me when I got born again many wrote me off and said I won't even last a week in salvation, 8 years later now see God... His grace saved me from the secular world of music thru Jesus Christ and His power thru His spirit changed me to who I am today... " She wrote.

Adding; My husband @djmokenya thank you for standing beside me today it was really important to me and to Pastor Kelvin Ephraim and Pastor Jackie Kelvin asanteni sana for mentorship and seeing God's plan in me.. ....My parents the Munyalis asante....God thank you for loving me this ordination is a gift from you

Speaking in a recent interview with Word Is, she revealed that the journey has not been easy and admitted to almost giving up along the way.

"Sometimes, I have felt like giving up, but when I look back, I realise it is a must. I have to deny myself something to remain true to God," she said.

"The world keeps calling me, and saying no has been the main challenge. By His grace, I did not backslide," she said.

"I am excited and very emotional about this event since my life hasn't been smooth. The devil has been fighting me but I have made it through. It's a big thing for me and any servant of God."

She will be serving as a minister at JCC Thika town.
