'Black Panther' star Lupita Nyong'o has tested positive for Covid-19.

The Oscar winner took to her Twitter page to announce the news saying she has since gone into isolation as she looks to recover soon.

"I too have tested positive for COVID-19. I'm fully vaccinated and taking care in isolation, so I trust I will be well. Please do all you can to keep yourself and others protected from serious illness." Lupita wrote.

The New York based actor was due to join her co-stars Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Jessica Chastain, Fan Bingbing and director Simon Kinberg for virtual interviews to promote their new thriller movie, 'The 355.'

'The 355' in which Lupita plays Khadijah is about a CIA agent Mason "Mace" Brown who joins forces with a rival German agent, a cutting-edge computer specialist and a Colombian psychologist when a top-secret weapon falls into the hands of a group of mercenaries.

Together, the four women embark on a breakneck mission to save the world while staying one step ahead of a mysterious figure who's tracking their every move.

We wish Lupita a quick recovery!
