Gospel musician Ringtone Apoko never shies away from flaunting his wealth to the world. He always brags of the number of cars he owns, buildings he owns as well as his multi million homes in posh Nairobi estates.

This has led to many questioning the source of his wealth and in an exclusive n=interview with Kamene and Jalas on Friday, the controversial musician was eager to address all the allegations against him.

"Nimetengeneza pesa kwa kutumia akili na kutovunja sheria (I have made my money through using my brain and not breaking any law)" Ringtone said.

There is no person who has filed a police report me so those allegations are from jealous people who are unable to use their brains. People who from where they are sitting think you don't deserve whatever you have.

Ringtone went ahead to narrate how he made his money a decade ago from high school tours where he says he used to sell his CDs to students and make a whooping Sh,300,000 per week.

I used to visit at least 10 schools per week because if I visit a school with one thousand students and sell my CDs for Sh100 to half of the school thenI would easily make Sh50,000.

While other artists were waiting for shows I would make Sh300,000 per week. I thank God for where I came from, nikienda shule niwaambie mimi ni polished chokoraa walimu wananipea chance.

He added, Shiro wa GP made millions by buying 3 probox cars which went around selling her CDs. Kenyans are willing to promote their artists but the artists are not aggressive enough.
