Daddy Owen has come to his elder brother, Rufftone's defence following the latter's allegations that the former attacked him with a panga after they differed politically.

Rufftone revealed that during a live interview with one of the top Television stations.

Daddy Owen became a trending topic on social media on Wednesday following the allegations but he says his elder brother has since apologized and said it was just a mistake.

Speaking to Kiss100.co.ke, Owen said; "What i know is i have never carried a panga, never confronted my big brother(Rufftone) He apologized yesterday. He said it was a mistake."

The 'Mbona' hit maker however said they two have had moments where they have differed politically but never have their debates resulted in violence.

"Politics is politics, it is not always that you have the same stand, but it doesn't mean there are differences. There are moments we have held political debates, but it is not the way he put it. I am not a violent person."

Defending his brother, Owen said his elder brother was under political duress when he made those allegations

"When I watched the interview, I felt like he was under pressure. Lazima ujitetee kisiasa. I think he wanted to pass a message across but it came out badly," he said.
