It is already an year to the day Moji Short Baba went on one knee and proposed to his now wife, Nyawira Gachugi.
February 5th was 2021, was the day the gospel artist shocked many including his fans, most who didn't have a clue that he was dating - the beauty of keeping private matters private!
Taking to his socials, Moji says proposing to Nyawira was 'the best' decision he ever made.
A year ago I went down on one knee! (For a short man it's not that far niko down anyway) It was the best decision I have ever made! And it was the beginning of something so beautiful! I am truly blessed to have you!! To forever my wife!
Reminiscing that day, Nyawira says she already knew that Moji was going to propose to her that day and even though she was certain he was the man she wanted for life, she couldn't help but battle being nervousn.
"A year ago today, I said yes to @mojishortbabaa .I remember how that morning I woke up and wrote in my journal..."Today, Moji is going to propose"I was nervous but excited because even then I knew that this was the man I wanted to be with forever." Wrote Nyawira.
Adding, Today as I went back to that journal entry and the scripture on that day was"The Lord Himself Goes before you, and will be with you;He will never leave you nor forsake you." Deutronomy 31:8.God loves me friends and Moji is proof that God gives me the best.
The two would say 'I do' three months later in a colorful private wedding surrounded by close friends and family members.
