A team of researchers at Texas Christian University have found that people, who are perceived as more attractive by others tend to have a stronger immune system.

In their study indicated in proceedings of the Royal Society B, a group of people were asked to rate the level of attractiveness of volunteers in their pictures.

Males with higher levels of NK cells in their plasma are more attractive.

These cells target and kill bacteria. Interestingly, the reverse was not true as females with lower NK levels are seen to be more attractive. Researchers suggest this is because women with lower NK levels tend to have higher estrogen levels.

In reference to this research, Chito joked about it adding that attractive people can easily survive the current Covid-19 pandemic.
