Amidst conversations surrounding Diamond Platinumz’s questionable command of the English language, as showcased at Netflix’s Young Famous and African, different online users have brought up conversations on whether English is really a measure of intelligence.
Speaking on The Morning Kiss, Kamene and Obinna agreed that conversing fluently in English shouldn’t be a measure of one's level of intelligence.
They argued that Diamond is one of the most successful musicians the continent has.
Given grounds English isn’t the musician’s first language, the morning presenters added that it's the same case as when a Kenyan visits France.
It'd be challenging for them to speak French fluently since it isn’t their first language.
