In preparations for her show in Paraguay, Miley Cyrus’ show was cut shortly after her plane was struck by lightning forcing the pilots to have an emergency landing.
The singer tweeted out saying “To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting. My crew , band , friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing.”
Fans, who were fully prepared to rage and have fun at the concert, expressed their concern for safety of the artist with @MileyEdition tweeting, “So so so glad you and everyone is safe! This must have been a very scary situation to be in, and especially MT. I feel so bad for the Smilers in Paraguay they were just posting about how excited they were for tomorrow.”
Although fans were a bit disappointed after the cancellation of the ‘Attention tour’ it was evident of how glad they were once Miley Cyrus pointed out that she, in the company of her family, were safe.
