Tanzanian music star, Nandy, yesterday dropped visuals to her new song ‘Siwezi’ and all Swahili music fans praised the singer for her magnificent lyricism and awesome video concept.
From the video, Nandy is seen arguing with her husband driving into deep thoughts before she eventually falls asleep.
In her dream, Nandy catches the husband cheating on her which made her angry, she runs towards the house, grabs a rope ready to commit suicide and eventually takes her own life bringing a sorrowful scene where the husband, bitterly cries while holding the casket carrying Nandy’s body.
Nandy soon wakes up from the nightmare only to find the husband relaxed, attending to his bicycle.
Fans, especially on her Youtube channel commended the young Tanzanian singer for her good vocals, lyricism and well thought out video notion that addresses modern problems.
@Nussah said, “Big up Nandy. This song ina reflects domestic violence. Wanawake wanatakiwa kujituma na kujua thamani zao. Sio utamaduni wa kukumbatia ndoa kisa kuogopa kuchekwa mwisho wa siku unaishia kufa ama kuwa mdangaji...."
@DoubleT added saying, “Some of the artists foresaw their first step to life of eternity through their artistic work the artistic display of the video represent a persona ending up with regrets and trauma leading to depression whose end product is unjust to our physical bodies. May the higher self in you continue giving the persona representative good hope.”
