Kenyan actress, Jackie Matubia, is off the market after her baby daddy, Blessing Lung’aho proposed yesterday on his birthday.
The couple made their relationship public on Valentine's day this year.
Speaking in an interview, Matubia said she did not publicize her union with Lung’aho as she respects his privacy.
She stated, "I respect his privacy and I also respect mine. I wasn't putting it out there for people I was doing it for me. It's all about keeping private things private and social things social, we are both actors so we are already in the public eye so this is the only thing we have that is private."
A Kiss insider source revealed, "We knew they would reveal on February 14. It was taking longer and preventing them from going on dates together because someone would see them. I wish them all the best and I want to tell them marriage works."
Taking to social media to congratulate the couple, content creator, Terrence Creatives posted on Instagram a video of the proposal with the caption, "MAPENZI WEWE Wow congratulations @blessinglungaho on your proposal and happy birthday to you @jmatubia."
Milly Chebby, the wife of Terrence, who also happens to be Matubia's good friend posted a congratulatory message to the couple.
She wrote, "Uuuwwwwuuuuiiiiii kujeni huku my sister said Yeeeeessssss awwwww congratulations @jmatubia I am so happy for you @blessinglungaho thanks for loving her right. I told you guys in his own time he makes everything beautiful. Congratulations to you the blessings."
