'Finesse' hitmaker, BNXN alias Buju's much anticipated concert in Nairobi has been postponed.

The concert was set to take place today at Impala grounds.

The event organizers, Throne Fest said the star couldn't fly into the country after facing 'some difficulties'

Announcing the postponement, Throne Fest's statement read, "It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the postponement of THRONE FESTIVAL in Nairobi Kenya that is schedule for Saturday 30th April 2022.We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to the exhibitors, buyers and industry professionals who were due to attend the show, but also to the global business events community."

The organizers further added, this is not a decision we have taken lightly and but its due to a superseding concern, that has caused us to make this decision at this time. This is the uncertainty caused by the fact that due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances BUJU who is the main act of the day faced some difficulties which made him unable to take his flight to Kenya.

They stated that they are not at fault for what transpired insisting that they had made all necessary arrangements from the flight to the accommodation for the act.

We as Statepen East Entertainment, our primary concern is always the responsibility we have towards our fans, sponsors, exhibitors and partners, who fund the show – not only by purchasing tickets and sponsoring the event but also in the considerable additional investment they made.

Apologizing to everyone affected by the sudden news, Throne Fest added, finally, we take this initiative humbly to apologize to all stakeholders and our fans for the inconveniences caused.

We shall issue the new dates for Throne Festival and communicate this accordingly with the general public. Measures are in place to refund tickets purchase by fans and all payment made by vendors shall be refunded immediately.
