Fast-rising recording and performing female artist, Amanda Wambui, popularly known by her stage name Maandy/ Kabaya has finally opened up about her relationship with fellow Kenyan artist Breeder LW.
The 'Sirudi Home' hit-maker clarified to her fans that she has actually never been romantically involved with Breeder.
She revealed this during a QnA session she had on her Instagram stories.
One curious fan called George asked, "Have you ever dated Breeder LW?" Because the two have had quite a cordial friendship with each other.
Maandy replied by stating that the two are purely friends with their friendship being almost as old as Uhuru's presidential term.
"I have known this id*ot for close to 10 years now and all I can say is I am lucky to have him as a friend. He is probably the most supportive person in my corner," Maandy wrote gushing over their friendship.
The 23-year-old however, had a few more deets to add in regards to her 'bff.'
"Lakini akona h**s wengi sana. Ama mlidhani akiimba anapenda wasichana ilikuwa satire?? (But he has many h*es or did you guys think when he sang he loves many women it was just satire?)," Maandy added.
Might she have been shedding light on why the two never dated? Maybe she wanted him but this little quality of his pushed her away?
Okay, I am just reaching out. I'll stop speculating and go on.
Ironically, this is not the first time the rap sensation has been put on the spot or had to clarify the nature of her relationship with Breeder.
Last year, the two worked on the remix of her hit-song 'Sirudi' and their chemistry on the music video had fans raising their eyebrows.
She still denied dating the rapper but teased about going for a 'test drive' with him to see if they were compatible.
"No (we are not dating), but the way you guys keep asking ni kama mnaona kitu hatuoni (It is as if there is something you guys are seeing that is oblivious to us. ) @breeder_LW would you like a test drive and see if we can be an item?"
I wonder what Nick Ndenda feels towards all this considering early this year he and Maandy made their relationship public.
Nick posted a picture of him and the curvaceous babe and captioned it, "You're all that and a bag of fries @maandygram and you know just how much I love fries!"
