Instagram QnA's are a hot thing at the moment and most media personalities are using the platform to open up and engage with their fans in a chilled regulated manner.
And Otile Brown's ex-lover Nabbi Nabayet seems to have hopped on the QnA bandwagon.
During one of her sessions, the Ethiopian damsel hinted that she has actually moved on after their much-publicized break-up.
In the Q and A session with her fans, Nabayet was asked to tackle a few things about her former relationship and lessons learned, something she obliged without revealing too many details.
One curious netizen asked her to talk about her experience with a long-distance relationship to which the young scientist replied saying it is one of the most difficult things she has ever dealt with.
"I think I can write a book about it. A long-distance relationship is one of the most difficult things I have ever experienced," Nabbi responded.
She added that trust and communication played a huge role, "It is extremely tough but it's certainly very possible. It requires your full trust, genuine love, and more importantly clear and consistent communication. If those aren't at 100%, don't even bother trying it."
She credits the growth of technology for helping make long-distance relationships easy.
"It's very easy to grow apart and misunderstand each other when it's long distance. But thanks to technology you can simply avoid that."
It's very important to maintain close communication, update each other regularly and be there for each other. Be confident in your relationship and assure your partner that all will be well. Then you are good to go."
Nabayet confirmed that minus everything she had not given up on love.
"Things don't always go as planned, unfortunately. No matter how many bad experiences you may have, a relationship/ love is always worth the shoot. However, it doesn't mean you must go looking for it. You must let it unfold naturally."
On her current status, Nabayet confirmed that she is in a relationship although she highlighted that single life helped her learn that happiness does not come from other people.
"I am not single dear, but single life is good. My heart is okay. It hasn't been broken recently.
It helps you learn that your happiness doesn't come from another person. You develop skills for self-fulfillment, contentment, and happiness. You learn to be happy."
She also talked about future plans of settling down and possible motherhood.
She said, "I like to think I am ready. Maybe soon... maybe not, but InshAllah all in due time."
In January 2022, singer Otile Brown confirmed his breakup with Ethiopian girlfriend Nabii after dating for approximately three years.
Otile noted that their efforts to resuscitate the relationship failed and the decision to part ways was mutual.
