Philanthropists Melinda French Gate and Janet Mbugua will have a virtual discussion on women's empowerment.

Joining the discussion will be renowned writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Co-Chair Bill and Melinda gates foundation, Dr. Shivon Byamukama, Dr. Corine Karema, and Memory Kachambwa.

"Today (Thursday, June 23rd ), I will be facilitating a session highlighting Equity and innovation for Africa's Recovery, alongside @africadotcom CEO Teresa Clarke,” she captioned.

 

They will be discussing the subject matter, Equity and Innovation for Africa's Recovery.

Janet continued to write about the importance of such conversations, "Women all over the world have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The most vulnerable, including those living in low and middle-income countries, have been hardest hit." She wrote.

The comment section was full of people giving her her well-deserved flowers and encouraging her.

With the lineup of the above pioneers and minds, Africa stands to maximize its potential that lies within, one layer at a time.

"A man is like an onion. His potential is exposed one layer at a time until he is known by all," Myles Monroe.

"A session is a hybrid event taking place during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) Rwanda 2022," Janet explained as she concluded.
