Nigerian singer, songwriter, and pianist., Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, better known by his stage name Mayorkun is set to visit the country, again!

And guys that is not all, the 'Holy Father,' hit-maker is also going to be sharing the stage with Sauti Sol's Bien, the sensational Nviiri the Storyteller, and Jovial at a concert dubbed the Party Verse 'peace edition'

The concert is set to take place on the 23rd of July 2022 at Waterfront Park, Nairobi.

This will be the second time the 28-year-old singer will be visiting the country after almost five years as the last time he was here was back in 2017.

The artist however does have ties to the country having collaborated with one of Kenya's best Bongo artists, Arrow Bwoy on his hit-song 'African Woman'

Speaking to Mpasho, Party Verse Marketing Director, Eve Ngami highlighted that Party verse is all about changing the game in the entertainment arena.

Before adding that the concept of the event was a promise of music that speaks to one's soul and energy promising that the experience will be revelers ushering exclusivity and the ultimate concert experience.

"It is going to be a platform for African artists to engage as creatives and form mash-ups. It is going to be a platform where they can give an explosion of creativity, passion, and talent that is globally recognized and appreciated,"  Eve said.

Eve also touched on a topic that I believe was in every Kenyan's mind, (well minus the excitement of the concert and getting to sing along to their faves) security. Because wueh!

Owing to the fact that the location chosen for the concert, Ngong Race Course is known to be madly insecure especially during such events, with party-goers getting mugged left, right and center.

Party verse is making a promise to ensure they do their due diligence and make it their priority to ensure all the attendees are safe from the time they arrive to when they leave.

Lol, that is such a big promise considering this is their first edition. I'm really looking forward to how they pull that off. I'm guessing with good security and lighting it might be possible.

"The most important thing we can do as event organizers provides a safe and exciting experience for our audience. That is why we are going to provide top-notch security on the ground." Eve said.

Party Verse also maintained that its main agenda is to advocate for peace and love ahead of the general elections reminding Kenyans that there is life after elections and Kenyans.
