Award-winning singer Zuchu has announced that she will be performing in Nairobi, Kenya for the first time.

Information reaching our Entertainment, the WCB signee details that she will be performing at the Ngong Racecourse comes December 10, 2022.

“Nairobi!! Nairobi!! I’m thrilled to announce my first-ever show in Nairobi Ngong Racecourse waterfront @ngongracecourse on 10th December. Get your tickets early now,” an excited Zuchu announced.

Zuchu first performed in Kenya in December 2021 and she was accorded a warm reception. The show was in Kenya's coastal town, Malindi. 

The WCB signee performed before a charged audience who had filled the Buntwani Waterfront Park to see her.

She confirmed that the reception she received from her fans in Kenya had been unbelievable for her.

She added that she was forced to confirm with her manager whether there was another act scheduled for the night, only to be told that she was it.

"Yesterday was more than a show to me, I kept asking if there were any other artist, and my manager kept telling me 'Zuchu, msanii ni wewe pekee (You are the only artist today)'

"God I'm grateful 😇 thank you to each and every one of you. Nawapenda sana, Kenya is my home. I love y'all so much," she posted.

On the other hand, Zuchu has also been picked as one of the performers at the Gala of the 2022 AFRIMMA Awards in the United States.

The songstress informed her fans that she is delighted to be heading to the US for the first-ever show. 

“YES your girl will be Performing On The @afrimma ‘S This Year. SAVE THE DATE 19/11/2022 DALLAS TEXAS,” 

The singer is also on the list of nominees who are battling for the prestigious African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) Awards. The Sukari hitmaker has been nominated for Best Female Artist from East Africa.

The 9th edition of AFRIMMA is to celebrate the stellar feats that African Music artists have made in the last year.

The Gala for the awards has been scheduled to go down on November 19th in Dallas, Texas.

Other stars from East Africa who have been nominated for the Awards include Fena Gitu, Jamal Gaddafi, DJ Shinski, DJ Poison Ivy, Diamond Platnumz, Ssaru, Zuchu, Rayvanny, Otile Brown, Sauti Sol, Enos Olik, Khaligraph Jones, Sanaipei Tande, Jovial, and Femi One.
