Kenyan Comedian MCA Tricky recently attended an interview conducted by Mpasho FM host, Kalondu Musyimi, where he addressed challenges creatives are still facing in the content creation industry.

He urged Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, to actualize on his promise to creatives on supporting them in their various ventures.

MCA Tricky claimed that despite the governor giving the go ahead for creatives to take videos and photographs in any part of the Nairobi CBD without a fee, they are still being asked to pay for venues in order to set up an interview.

"Let me kindly address the governor, I know he is a young guy and he listens to us. Maybe ulipoingia pale, uliingia tu then ukaassume kitu umesema imefanyika.

Io ya creative economy kukua supported, ulisema lakini haijafanyika bado . Kindly actualize that."

He then urged the politician to do more research on the challenges the creatives are facing so as to be able to support them fully.

"A creative should not pay for a venue to set up an interview. Sasa wewe unalipa na io ndio unatafuta. Io elfu tatu wewe ndio unatafuta leo, sasa ukilipa utakua umejisaidia aje?"

MCA Tricky became popular for his role as "chokosh" on Churchill Show since he dressed, talked and behaved like one of the street children.

He also trended for assumptions that he was dating one of  Akothee's daughters, Rue Baby.

Rue Baby cleared the air about those claims during an interview and said they are only friends and all they do perform skits together.
