Award-winning group Sauti Sol has owned up to the shortcomings that were witnessed at the second edition of Sol Fest that went down at KICC over the weekend.

In a statement, the Band through their Management said that next time they will plan better. The statement comes after sectional disappointment from fans who attended the show in large numbers.

A section of those who gave feedback on the Sol Fest 2022 complained about time allocation for artists and delays in those artists showing up on stage.

"Our intention was to put on a spectacular event, ensuring each artist and group received enough time to deliver their very best performances to all fans. We also put more focus on the local talent who were performing, and our international guests," reads part of the statement.

Adding that We acknowledge that this may have led to some unfortunate delays in keeping the show running in a timely fashion and would like to reassure all our fans and supporters that we will plan better for this in the future,"

The band has assured their fans of better experiences in the future.

"Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out in large numbers, endured the long queues and braved the long night to show us love and support. It is with you and for you that we are able to build bigger and better platforms for African talent," the statement said.

On Saturday, Sauti Sol showed up on stage at 3:04 and performed for roughly 40 minutes something that angered a section of their fans.
