East Africa Legislative Assembly MP Kanini Kega is a proud parent after his daughter scored 412 marks in the 2022 KCPE.
The former Kieni Constituency MP shared the good news via his socials congratulating his daughter for her exemplary performance.

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu released the KCPE results with a revelation that the top candidate had scored 431 marks.
The two candidates are Otieno Lewis Omondi from St Peter's Mumias Boys Primary School and Fwaro Makokha Robinson from Christ the King Academy, Bungoma.
The CS mentioned that a total of 1,237, 852 candidates sat for the 2022 KCPE examination and they will all transition to Form one in January next year.
During the release of the 2022 KCPE result, CS Machogu provided a summary of how candidates performed in 2022.
The KCPE exams were administered from November 28 to 30.
Candidates can access their results by sending their index number, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 20076.
Machogu on Wednesday said that 252 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education candidates involved in malpractices will receive their results.
According to the CS, this will be in a bid to achieve a full transition to secondary school.
“The candidates will receive their results and will transition to secondary school. This is in the spirit of 100 percent transition,” he said.
Machogu who released the 2022 KCPE results said 252 were caught engaging in the vice across nice examination centers across the country.
He added that the candidates were not awarded any marks in the subjects they engaged in malpractices.
“Overall there were 252 candidates in 9 examination centres who were found to have engaged in malpractices. These candidates have scored zero in subjects where they engaged in malpractice. Nonetheless, the affected students' overall marks will be computed less the mark awarded in the affected subject.”
