Former TV news anchor Betty Kyallo has responded to claims that she did not resign from her previous TV job at Mediamax.
Betty left K24 after a two-year stint in 2020.
Speaking through a question and answer session on her official Instagram page stories, Betty Kyallo denied the claims that she was fired by K24.
She said that she resigned, and it was because of her personal growth.
She wanted to challenge herself and get more income-generating streams.
"First, I wasn't fired. I quit. Also, I was challenged to get more income avenues. Unajiamini, unaendelea na life." she explained.
On her final show, she appreciated all who supported her in her show.
Betty did not reveal the circumstances under which she was leaving, only saying her reign had come to an end.
"It’s now time for me to say Goodbye here on K24 TV, if we meet again great, if not you know how you can find me on all my social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, Betty Kyallo lately it's going to be popping and we are going to be doing great things there. Thank you so much for all your support I appreciate You God bless you and I love you. Good Night."
After exiting K24, Betty opened a new beauty parlour, that has gained fame online.
She has been very successful in business, and currently, she owns a Multi-million restaurant in Karen and she is also into the real estate business.
It will take time for her to come back again on TV because she is already making millions of money from her businesses.
