Celebrated music icon Britney Spears has just announced that she is selling her recently acquired 11.8 million dollar home in Calabasas for 12 million dollars. Not a big jump from the price she acquired it for.
But c'mon! That is a whooping Sh1.5 billion Kenyan shillings!
Britney Spears upgraded when she bought the estate in June 2022. However, it looks like the pop star is regretting the purchase, as she’s already put it back on the market.
Britney and her husband Sam Asghari purchased the 11,650 square-foot home that sits on 1.6 acres in the Calabasas, last summer.
It was an upgrade for the "Baby One More Time," hitmaker from her Thousand Oaks mansion, which she purchased in 2015 for $7.5 million which is around 930 million shillings.
The two moved into the Calabasas mansion right around the time they tied the knot but now it seems the two might be moving back to the Thousand Oaks mansion full time seeing as the Calabasas mansion is up on sale.

According to reports, Britney quickly moved out of the Calabasas home after moving in mainly because the house was way too exposed for her and she just couldn't seem to fall in love with it Luckily she didn't put any money toward renovations inside or out on the 1.6-acre lot.

There is also the tiny yet huge fact that the mansion is located in the same neighbourhood as her ex, Kevin Federline.
This isn't the first estate that Britney has put up for sale. Back in September last year, she reportedly was seen selling her Florida condo, which sits on over 2,500 square feet of living space, including 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The "princess of pop" had owned the estate for over a decade after buying it in 2009 for a little under $1 million.
Britney only listed the property for $2 million.
