Former Mr Kenya and Maria actor Robert ‘Khula’ Budi has allegedly been arrested and he is being held at the Karen Police station.
Information shared by the actor via his socials indicates that he has been in custody since yesterday.
He alleged that he has been denied bail.
According to Budi’s narration, he claims that he was assaulted together with his wife and daughter by a Nigerian National who went to their house.
“I am currently being held at the Karen police station since yesterday without bail. A Nigerian national came to my house, attacked, and assaulted me. He was abusive to my wife and daughter. He has paid the OCS at Karen police station to hold me here illegally without bail,” read part of a post from Khula Budi.
The talented actor went on to share p3 forms he got from the Hospital after the alleged incident.
“I got a p3 form of the assault but the police officers have managed to take it out of my bag and instead replaced it with blank papers. Luckily I had made copies.
“I’ve been assaulted in my own country by a Nigerian national who came to my house! with no protection from the police or the Kenyan government,"
He added that;
“I’m urging everyone to please share this story. And to make as many phone calls to the OCS at Karen police station her number is 0724667154 @ipoafricancommand,”.
Our calls to the Karen OCS via the number provided by Khula Budi went unanswered.
