US Vice President Kamala Haris has released a list of 25 songs that she has been listening to in the past few months on Spotify.
The vice president's "My Travels" playlist has a diverse range of artists as she travels through Ghana, Tanzania, and Zambia.
Sauti Sol’s Bien Aime Baraza is the only Kenyan musician on the list through a collaboration he did with Tanzani’s Darassa dubbed “No Body”.
The list has been dominated by Tanzanians as far as the East Africa space is concerned. Those on the list from Tanzania are; Zuchu, Harmonize, Jay Melody, Juma Jux, Marioo, Alikiba, Mbosso, and Darassa
Kamala arrived in Ghana on Sunday (March 26) for her first trip to Africa while in office, and will visit Tanzania on Wednesday and Zambia on Friday before returning to the U.S. on Sunday.
