Dancehall superstar Shatta Wale lands in Kenya

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr popularly knowns as Shatta Wale has landed in Kenya.

Wale was seen at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Friday, April 1, immediately after arriving in the country.  

The dancehall artist was spotted with Aggrey Sayi, the Odibets country marketing manager.

He is best known for his singles Dancehall King, my level and We taking over. 

This journalist has established that the dancehall artist has been brought to Kenya by mad fun travel. 

This journalist reached out to Mrs. Martina Kitavi, who is the head of operations at Mad fun, to ask more about Shatta’s visit.

However, Mrs Kitavi could not disclose why the reggae artist is in Kenya.

Who is Shatta Wale

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., known by his stage name Shatta Wale formerly Bandana, is a Ghanaian-born reggae-dancehall musician.

Shatta Wale changed his name to "Bandana" after senior high school and released the hit track "Bandana from Ghana".

The song made tremendous air waves in the Ghanaian music industry in 2004. His greatest song hit in 2013, Dancehall king took the airwaves by surprise. Shatta wale's musical revenue is mostly generated through the hosting of shows which attract most 1000's Ghanaian youths.

Shatta was born to Charles Mensah Snr. a politician, businessman and legal practitioner and Elsie Evelyn Avemegah.
