Comedian Eric Omondi has a few words of advice for Kenyan youths, it is time to take action as no one is going to rescue them.
The comedian used his socials to pass his message accompanied by several pictures of him rocking an outfit almost similar to the one inmates at Kenyan prisons wear.
However, his outfit was stripped blue and white instead of black coupled up with him in handcuffs while holding a key.
Eric captioned the picture, "Our time is coming..." before going on with his message.
"This is a Letter to every young person in this Country... no one is coming to save you, NO ONE is Coming to RESCUE you!!! You will have to Save yourselves!!!" read the first part of the post.
He went on to add notes that he claimed were statistics to further fuel his message highlighting why Kenyan youths had to take charge of their lives and the direction they wanted the country to be steered towards.
"Percent of the unemployed in this Country are youths, 90% Percent of people in Prison in this country are Youths!!! Another 90% Percent of houses locked and people going hungry are Youths and Yet 68 Percent of Voters are YOUTHS!!!" Eric claimed as he went on to call upon the youth to start getting ready for action.
Eric asked the Kenyan youths to start preparing themselves mentally so that when the call for action was rung they would be ready to answer it.
"Youths GET READY!!! PREPARE YOURSELF!!! When we make the CALL we will need you to RISE UP!!!
We will UNITE!!! We will take over and we will CHANGE OUR FORTUNES and the COURSE of this NATION." The social media influencer called out.
He finished off by noting, "OUR TIME IS COMING!!!"
