Tanzania's bongo artist Ben Pol has shared that he does not agree with Moroccan PSG play Hakim Achraf freezing his wife off his assets following their divorce.
Ben took to his social media page to share that he felt the move was unfair and if Hakim really loved his soon to be ex-wife he'd leave her with a notable amount of his wealth.
"Alichokifanya Hakimi sio Unyama? Mpe mtoto wa watu hata 30 Au 40% (what Hakim did was not fair to say the very least, give the lady at least 30% or 40%,)" started off Ben Pol.
He went on to ask if Hakim didn't trust his wife then why did he end up asking for her hand in marriage and starting a family with her, seeing as the two have 2 kids together.
Ben Pol strongly feels that Hakim shouldn't let his wife go and start life afresh especially after being used to a certain type of lifestyle.
"Kwa hiyo Hakimi angependa Mke wake aanze maisha upya, na watoto wawili? Sasa ndio nini?(so Hakim wants his wife to go start a new life with two young kids? What is that?)" Lamented the bongo artist.
He finished off by sending a message to his future wife noting that he would never do such a thing to her. Ben added that he'd actually give his wife wealth before things even got rocky.
"Kama ulikuwa haumuanini kwanini ulimuoa? Nasimama na Mke wa Hakimi and Dear Future wife Mimi nitakupa chako mapema kabla hakijanuka maana huku nje kuna ndugu na jamaa wenye hasira kali," the last part of his post read.
The divorce case of Africa's highest-paid footballer Achraf Hakimi has got the world talking.
Hakim's wife Spanish actress Hiba Abouk, in a divorce case reportedly asked for half of the footballer's fortune in their divorce settlement but to her shock received nothing as apparently her husband has nothing to his name.
During the settlement it was revealed that all of Hakimi's assets (vehicles, buildings and so on) are under his mother's name. Besides that, he also made his mother a beneficiary of 80% of his salary several years back.
Ironically, Ben's ex-wife Anerlisa Muigai had commented earlier on saying she was team Hakim and she endorsed the move.

Keroche Heiress Anerlisa in her post said their case is almost similar. Taking to Instagram, Anerlisa drew a comparison between Achraf and herself in a photo collage.
She captioned the picture, "Ukiona hizi sura jua hakuna mali ya bure, (when you see these faces just know you are not getting any free assets)"
Anerlisa was married to Ben Pol a few years ago.
The love birds got married in May 2020, in Dar es Salaam, with less than 10 guests in attendance, only for the 'Moyo Mashine' hitmaker to file for divorce after 11 months.
It was alleged that she paid for their lifestyle, and he did not deny this. No details of their divorce are available, and who got what.
Hakimi and his wife began dating in 2018, and married in 2020. Hakimi is currently being investigated in Paris, France, for alleged rape.
