Socialite Faith Makau alias Amber Ray surprised her son Gavin with a brand new iPhone 14 pro max as he turned a year older.
In a video shared via her socials, Amber is seen surprising her son who was just relaxing at home playing video games.
According to Ms Ray, she gave her son the iPhone as an official gift to welcome him to the teenage hood.
“Life is a game of choices, and the cards you leave behind become the reasons for your next choices. My work as his mother is to create for him an environment where his choices are only the best for the best and from the best.
“That is why… made it to the choice list because they are the best at what they do. Welcome to teenagehood my Son @gavinclassic,” Amber Ray shared.
Upon receiving the pricey gift, Gavin shared photos of the same with a caption that says;
“How I was welcome to the teenage hood by my mum❤️ thank you and a happy birthday to my 🎉🎉🎉,”.

The new gadget retails between Sh190K to 300K depending on the specs and country of purchase.
Amber Ray has officially joined the list of celebs that have gifted their kids the brand new iPhones.
Just the other day, Diamond bought his daughter Princess Tiffah a new iPhone. Before that, South Africa-based Ugandan Businesswoman Zari Hassan had also gifted her son Pinto Ntale a new iPhone 14 pro max.
The Brooklyn City College CEO used her socials to announce to her fans and followers that her son deserves a decent phone and that’s why she settled on an iPhone.
"He deserves it, he is a humble kid," Zari wrote.
In September, businessman and rapper Billnass also gifted his house manager a brand new iPhone Pro Max. The phone gift was delivered to the househelp by Billnass’s wife Nandy who said the gadget is aimed at their making their communication easy.
Nandy went on to instruct the housegirl that the phone will also be used to take photos of their newborn baby on a need basis.
