Kenyan Dancehall star Stephen Karuga Kimani alia KRG the Don has taken legal action against a Tiktoker accusing him of fraud.
In a letter addressed to the Tiktoker “bobonyostomapesa” the "Mambo Imechemka” hitmaker through his lawyer is accusing the user of spreading false information and defamatory statements about their client.
“We have been retained by our client Stephen Karuga Kimani alias Krg The Don to address you as hereunder;
That on or about 22" of April 2023; You posted a video on social media Instagram and Tiktok page “bobonyostomapesa” stating that our client owes you money and is involved in promiscuous ways.
“The said statements uttered by you attracted so many comments from viewers who condemned our client and damaged his reputation,” read part of the statement.
KRG made it clear that he has never met with the said Tiktoker or even discussed business at any given point.

“It their ordinary meaning and also on innuendo, the said words meant and were to mean that our client is immoral, a liar and a scammer who preyed on your money in a dishonest scheme.
“This is despite the fact that you and our client have never met and have never had any working relationship of any kind. As a consequence of the above, our client's reputation has been greatly injured and brought into public scandal, and contempt and caused our client pecuniary professional and moral damage.
The Fast Cash CEO is now demanding a public apology and admission of liability by the TikToker within 7 days.
“These statements are false, defamatory, constitute tortuous interference with business, and as such, are actionable under the laws of Kenya.
You are hereby warned and notified to CEASE AND DESIST making false and defamatory statements regarding our client.
This letter is to demand the admission of liability and public apology to our client for the injury and harm caused to his reputation as an artiste,” the letter demanded.
The Tiktoker risks being dragged to court if he fails to issue an apology and admit he is in the wrong within the next 7 days.
