Seasoned journalist Lillian Muli has refuted claims that she is open to dating young and broke men.
In a post seen by this writer, Muli termed the reports as Fake news. She went ahead to state that the act of spreading unfound rumours about her must stop.
Muli’s statement comes at a time, several screenshots were doing rounds on social media with reports that she is open to dating young and broke men.
“FAKE. This nonsense must stop,” Lillian Muli said.
The virality of the fake post made Muli a trending topic on social media.
The post in question read; "I'm open to dating younger men who are broke,".
Lillian Muli has fallen victim to fake news several. A few years ago, an impostor using her name alleged that she was giving out free iPhones with the 100 winners being offered to be massaged.
A number of people actually fell for the scam but Lilian cleared the air via her Instagram page saying that that was an impostor.
