Citizen TV Presenter Shatta Bwoy honored his wife in a special way at the time she was being laid to rest.

Shatta’s wife was laid to rest on Saturday, days after she passed away. The burial ceremony was attended by his colleagues from Royal Media Services, family, and friends.

While eulogizing his wife Shatta, said that he had promised his wife that one day he will cut off his dreadlocks for a worthwhile course.

 
 

She has been a very loving and protective wife. And when I put on these dreadlocks she told me to let them have a meaning.

“Nikamwambia (Wife Becky) siku moja nikipata a worth course nitakuwa nakata nywele moja-moja to make sure I never forget the event, and the event that I promised starts with her," Citizen FM/TV presenter Shatta Boy explains during his wife's burial the reason of chopping his hair.

After cutting one of his 31 dreadlocks, Shatta proceeded to place it on his coffin.

 

"Mama Jael as you leave you go with part of that Crown and I love you. I will love these children as you wanted me to, I will protect t them and I will protect them and be the best Dad ever," 

The radio host also remembered the last words of his wife before she passed away.

“The last words you left me were ‘Baba Jael Enda nyumbani uchunge watoto, mimi napumzika. I will do it, I will protect them in the best way possible. I love you so much. Rest well we shall meet,” Shatta Bwoy shared.
