Tanzanian singer Zuhura Othman Soud alias Zuchu has set a new record after becoming the first female artiste in East Africa to accumulate over 500 million views on YouTube.
The WCB signee was treated to a pleasant surprise by her team upon achieving the new milestone.
The Nani hitmaker expressed her gratitude to all her fans across the world for always supporting her craft.
The singer has achieved the milestone in just three years of being in the music Industry.
“I love my Team I didn’t even know that we had already reached 500 million Views on YOUTUBE. They planned this Lil surprise for me 🥹 Asanteni sana kwa pamoja tumeweza kufanikisha hizi ndani ya miaka mitatu Tumefikia hapa aisee 🙌🙌🙏," Zuchu said.
A thankful Zuchu also thanked her management led by Diamond Platnumz for always investing in her music and pushing her to new heights.

Zuchu said that she is officially on the road to 1 Billion views on the platform. She joined YouTube on January 2019 but started uploading videos in April 2020 after being signed by Diamond.
She has over 503,179,674 views and counting.
“ROAD TO A BILLION VIEWERS 💪,” Zuchu said.
Zuchu began singing at a young age, considering that she hails from a musical family. She broke into the music world in 2015 with the first edition of Tecno Own The Stage in Lagos, Nigeria, where she was one of the competition’s finalists.
Zuchu was formally signed to WCB Wasafi and announced in April 2020 with her debut Extended Playlist named "I Am Zuchu" after 4 years of recording and being in the pipeline, working on her craft, refining her vocals and writing skills.
In 2020, the EP became the most streamed album on Boomplay and Audiomack Tanzania, and Zuchu became the most streamed female artist across all of East Africa.
She is without a doubt Tanzania's most promising artist at the moment, having topped the African charts on various platforms with her hit solo single "Sukari," which has over 90 million views on YouTube.
She had the most-watched song in Sub-Saharan Africa in 2021 and was the first female artiste in Sub-Saharan Africa to clock over 1 million views on YouTube within 22 hours through her same song, Sukari.
