Singer Mayonde and her partner Mbithi are expecting their first child together.
The singer made the good news public through a video shared via her socials –celebrating all the milestones in her life.
According to Mayonde, she was very emotional throughout the process of making the video.
“I happy cried so many times making this reel because looking back over my life, I see that God is real and I have tasted and seen that He is good. He fills my life with good things. He uplifts and He restores,” she said in part.
The singer went on to add; “That's what I'm celebrating with this song RAHA, all the things God has already done for me. It brings me great joy to count my blessings and see God's hand in my life. It's so easy to be pulled into the darkness of this world and live in fear, but I'm learning to trust God will take care of my future. So now I will appreciate all the blessings and answered prayers and believe everything is working out for us. Can I get an amen up in here?,"
At the same time, Mayonde celebrated the release of her new song featuring Muthoni Drummer Queen and Polaris.
“Our new song Raha drops this Friday and we're appreciating all the things that bring us joy. What brings you joy? I hope this song does 💜💕 It makes me so happy and I can't wait for you to hear this song produced by @HOUSEOFDILLIE @muthonidrummerqueen featuring @polarispauline and myself. Issa banger, issa vibe!!! Raha,” she wrote.
