Kasarani Member of Parliament Ronald Karauri has promised to help 'Pastor Daniel', a preacher who took his congregants to the lion's den to prove his powers.

Karauri through his X post said he is willing to fully pay for the pastor's full trip to Maasai Mara.

"All expenses paid. We look for the lions and he can go walk with them," the MP said.

In an undated video, 'Pastor Daniel' is seen interacting with the lions, and at some point, putting his hand in their mouth, in a way to show that his powers can stop the lions from hurting him.

It is reported that he gathered his congregants to the den,  proclaiming that nothing can harm a true man of faith.

Just as in the Bible, when Daniel was locked in a lion's den and God protected him from being eaten by the lions, the controversial pastor wanted to recreate the moments.

It is yet to be established the country and park in which the scene occurred.

Kenyans on X said the lions must have been tamed as the occurrence was unusual.

Others questioned why the pastor was allowed to get into the den and interact with the lions.
