Seasoned media personality Fred Indimuli is celebrating 20 years of being a TV personality.

In a candid post, Indimuli disclosed that he started his TV career back in 2003 at Metro TV (KBC 2) and since then he has never looked back.

While making the great milestone, the TV47 news anchor was treated to a pleasant surprise by his colleagues at the station.

He expressed gratitude for how his colleagues celebrated him and his journalism career- promising that he would still be in the game for more years.

“It's been an interesting 20 years since I first went on TV as a presenter. My first gig was as host of an entertainment show called Grapevine on Metro TV (KBC2) back in October 2003. God has been gracious. I am still in the game. I casually mentioned this to my younger colleagues and they made a big deal out of it. I am grateful. Here's to 20 more,” Indimuli shared.

Indimuli joined TV47 a few months ago after leaving KTN.

He left KBC in September 2021 after only two months at the National Broadcaster. On June 21, 2021, Indimuli was among veteran media personalities who were hired by KBC during their much-anticipated re-launch.

He was later paired with TV Girl Shiksha Arora for the Friday bulletin at the station, but his untimely exit will see Arora ride solo on #EasyFriday.

He was poached by KTN to replace Ben Kitili as the host of Inside Politics. At the time Kitili had been poached by NTV.

Before joining KBC, Indimuli used to work for K24. He was among the over 100 employees who were fired by Mediamax due to the adverse effects of COVID-19 on businesses back in 2020.

He has also worked with Citizen TV.

“It’s not that am going somewhere, it’s only that am presiding over my last edition on Day Break. A few things will change but I will communicate that. It’s been a pleasure hosting Day Break, the news review for the last 2 and half years, and Thank you for always being such a lovely audience,” said Fred Indimuli while exiting Citizen TV in 2018.

Before joining Citizen, Indimuli worked as an Online news Editor at Radio Africa Group Ltd. He also worked as a TV and Radio editor at Kiss TV.

The two (Fred and Bahajj) are said to be headed to TV47 – a station that has been on the run to revamp its newsroom with notable news in the media industry.
