Media personality Jacque Maribe missed a court hearing on Friday 26th January, where the High Court was to deliver Judgment in Monica Kimani's murder case.

Through her lawyer, Maribe asked the court to delay the delivery of her judgment in Monica Kimani's murder case after she fell ill.

Justice Nzioka said the judgment was ready and the verdict will be made on 15th March 2024.

Minutes after the ruling, Maribe took to her social media to react.

She wrote "To humiliate someone because of ill health is so wrong. And to make it clear, I have never missed court except once when I was ill," she wrote on Instagram stories

Adding "Kwani mwili yangu imejengwa na matofali? Hata that time I supposedly sought time to travel we were only being respectable enough to tell the court and there was no due date interfering with that."

In December, Maribe expressed her dissatisfaction with the court when it postponed the judgment to January 26th.

"It needs to stop. For five years I have respected the court, but this is too much. Justice delayed is justice denied. Stop putting people's lives in limbo. I'm tired of this," she wrote on Instagram stories
