Lang’ata MP Jalango has issued a statement ahead of the much anticipated Raha Fest concert being held in his constituency.

In his statement, the MP acknowledged that Lang’ata constituency will be hosting the biggest Festival in Kenya - Raha Fest.

“Langata, Nairobi Langata Constituency is gearing up to host the biggest event in Kenya - Raha Fest. The festival, set to take place at Uhuru Gardens on the 30th and 31st of March 2024, promises to be a celebration of culture, art, music, and fashion like never before,” he said in part.

 

The legislator went on to assure partygoers that security has been beefed up and all those planning to attend the festival should do so in confidence. 

“The Constituency has assured all attendees that security has been significantly heightened ahead of the two-day festival. Additionally, measures have been put in place to ensure smooth traffic flow along Langata Road during the event,".

Adding; “Langata constituency is committed to ensuring the growth of the Kenyan Creative and Entertainment Economy and looks forward to creating an impact in the African Scene in a bid to make Kenya an Event Destination

 

“The Raha Fest team has also curated an amazing lineup for attendees and also boasts of a wide array of our own Acts. Langata Constituency welcomes Africa to UHURU Gardens for the maiden edition of RAHA FEST,”.

Raha Fest is happening on March 30 and 31st at Uhuru Gardens. 

On Saturday, Davido will be sharing the stage with Musa Keys. Others performing on day one of the event are. Iyanya, Mejja, Samidoh, DJ Neptune, Femi One, Logos Olori, Morravey and Zeman.

Those performing on Sunday (March 31st) are; King Promise, Ya Levis, Otile Brown, Bensoul, H-art the Band, Nadia Mukami, Boutross, Nviiri the Storyteller, Sanaipei Tande, and Melina Gold.
