Netizens have been left in stitches following a trending video of a middle aged man spotted flinched multiple times during the gun salute part of a military burial he had attended.
The man who stood among other congregants dressed in a black kanzu with gold details could be seen flinched and then slowly looking towards the direction of the noise as the guns went off.
One would assume after the first shots his brain would internalize there is no imminent threat and would try to be at ease but that was not the case.
As more shots erupted in the air, the middle aged man could not help but flinch as his shoulders shuddered from the loud noise. Albeit the soldiers conducting the honorary salute accorded to departed military service men and women were quite a distance from him.
His reaction amused some of the other mourners around him as everyone appeared calm and composed.
The video was shared by Mpasho on their Instagram page and netizens were all so quick and hilariously creative with their reactions. Some commented on the demeanour of other attendees while most kept their attention on the flinching man.
