Radio Personality Xclsuive has expressed his displeasure at a section of Kenyans lecturing Elidu Kipchonge for not finishing the Marathon during the Paris Olympics.
Speaking on Kiss FM during his show, Xclusive said that Kenyans should be more grateful for having someone like Kipchoge.
He went on to mention some of the achievements Kipchoge has registered over the years like running a marathon under 2 hours.
“When Eliud did not finish the race, many people were out here bashing him. They talked about how he should have quit when he was ahead or retired 4 years ago. Mbona aliendelea kukimbia, ooh his is tarnishing his legacy? Listen Kenyans, if you have never run a marathon then you don’t have the capacity to lecture him and what he has done,” Xclusive said.
He went on to point out that even American rapper Snoop Dogg put up a post acknowledging Kipchoge’s contribution to the Marathon world.
“This is the only man in the history of mankind to run a marathon under two hours then you want to advise him,” he added.
He also highlighted a clip of another Kenyan athlete who was complaining about the language barrier and being unable to seduce ladies in Paris.
