Esther Musila has been releasing a song every 25th of May for the last 4 years without fail and the reason behind the artistic decision is really special.

Speaking exclusively with Mpasho's team the mother of 3 opened up about why she started doing music and her future plans moving forward.

"I have a 9-5 job, so I don't think I'm going to focus fully on music probably until I retire," started off the business lady.

On why she started singing in the first place Esther divulged that it was an act of honouring her late mother.

"Why I decided to sing is because when I got to 50 years, I decided every year I would do a song. And I do hymns because my mom loved hymns, and I grew up listening to hymns.

So, I do that just for fun and just to make sure I follow up with what I committed to do on my birthday," Esther said during an interview with Mpasho.

The mother of 3 swooned over the 4 songs that she has already released without fail as she highlighted her plans to continue creating music without fail as long as she turns a year older.

Esther also credited herself 'the best listening ear' that gospel artist Guardian Angel has.

Stating, "I think I'm his best listening ear. He is an artist, and I represent the other side because I'm able to act as an audience for him. So, every time he comes up with a new song, I'm the first person who hears it. And for years we've always had the studio in the house, so even when he's recording, I'm the first person to hear the song,"
