On September 15th, 2024, Morton will grace the stage in Nairobi, Kenya, at the Glee Hotel. Born on March 29, 1981, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Morton is the son of Bishop Paul Morton and Dr. Debra Brown Morton.

He shares his life with his wife Kortni Morton and their three children: Jakai (19), P3 (13), and Peyton (11).

Morton graduated from Morehouse College in 2003 with a degree in Marketing.

He initially joined Maroon 5 as a touring keyboardist in 2010 and became an official member of the band in 2012. His remarkable career is highlighted by several Grammy Awards:

  • Best Traditional R&B Performance: 2024 and 2019 for "Good Morning" and "How Deep Is Your Love"
  • Best R&B Song: 2020 for "Say So"

Morton also established Morton Records in 2016 and has collaborated with renowned artists like Maroon 5, Stevie Wonder, Lil Wayne, and India Arie. His latest album includes the track "All the Dreamers," featuring a sample from "Mwaki" by Kenyan artist Sofiya Nzau.
