It is no secret that the Morgan Heritage family are head over heels in love with Kenya. It's people, the vibe, the love and the diverse culture won them over.

As a result, back in 2016, the ‘Royal Family of Reggae’ revealed that they were intending to relocate in Kenya.

The Grammy award winning group were also working on opening up a mega state-of-the-art music recording company in Nairobi for all its African operations.

“We are going to look for president Kenyatta because we want to get Kenyan passports. By the grace of God, we will soon have our home in Kenya. " Gramps Morgan said.

He added,

We have been to many parts of the world, including South Africa, Nigeria and Senegal, but there’s nowhere else we feel at home than in Kenya. We’ve got just a few more years left to live in the west. We are officially coming to make Kenya our home."

Gramps is fresh from releasing 'People like you' song a sweet motivational song in these tough times and says it is the perfect song to perform during the upcoming Kenya Ni Yetu live concert.

"I want everyone to know that Kenya is always like a second home to me and my family so when I heard about Kenya ni Yetu concert I knew that my new single ‘people like you’ would be perfect!"  said Gramps Morgan.

Gramps called on Kenyans to join Yetulive.com and be a part of the movement.

Kenya Ni Yetu Live is the biggest virtual concert during this pandemic period, and is set to take place this Saturday, 29th August, 2020.

The Stanbic Bank sponsored event will bring together some of the biggest acts including, Eric Wainaina, Sauti Sol, Suzanna Owiyo, Samidoh, H_art The Band,  Sir Elvis and Redfourth choir.

Kenya ni yetu concert will be live on all TV stations including KISS TV and Citizen TV as well as on yetulive.com.
