Bangarang is set to screen in cinema theatres around the country in April 2021.
The film is one of the 12 beneficiary projects of the first cycle of the Kenya Film Commission’s Film Empowerment Programme.
Produced by Leqwood Productions, the feature film is inspired by true events of Kenya’s post-election violence that took place between 2007-2008.
The story focuses on Otile, an Engineering graduate who is driven to bitterness by joblessness and decides to express the same to the Government.
The film shot in Kisumu County created job opportunities for over 150 people.
