King of Mugithi, Samuel Muchoki popularly known as Samidoh has categorically stated that he will never quit his job as an administration police officer.
Speaking in an interview with Massawe Japanni, the successful musician was asked why he has never left his post to continue with his well paying music career.
Narrating how he got his job as a police officer, Samidoh says he once had nothing and he used it as a stepping stone to where he is now.
For that he will continue serving people Kenyans through his post.
"Hii kazi nilitafuta bila shati na nilipitia maisha magumu na niliitumia kama stepping stone so siwezi kuiacha." Said Samidoh.
He added,
Pia kuna athletes wana earn pesa nyingi na bado ni afisa wa polisi na hakuna kazi itakulipa pesa nyingi kuliko talanta yako."
Asked where he takes his salary to given that it is just a drop in the ocean, the father of two said he has a few students he is supporting in his home town.
