This weekend, Diamond Platnumz was performing at Mkapa stadium in Tanzania when Simba Sports Club unveiled their squad for the 2020/2021 season in an event that was named "Simba Day".
The star arrived in a helicopter and was surrounded by security but a fan managed to reach the bongo flava singer, grabbing him and sending them tumbling down on the ground.
The fan was then taken away by security as Diamond was helped up and went on with the show.
The ambush by fans was captured on camera by the media that was airing the event.
