What’s your ideal weekend plan? For me, one of things on my to-do list is catching up on some of my favorite shows after a busy work week, over a glass of wine or cocktail, with some delicious home cooked or takeout (if it is pay day, like today).

This weekend will be no exception because, there’s a new episode of #SingleKiasi (Single-ish) that was released this past Thursday on Showmax. If you don’t know what Single Kiasi is, then you might be living under a rock because it is the hottest show on Showmax right now and there are already two episodes available.

The new drama series, Single Kiasi follows three girl friends in Nairobi as they navigate the up and downs of life in Nairobi. It stars Kenyan actresses Gathoni Mutua as Sintamei, Minne Kariuki as Mariah and Faith Kibathi who plays Rebecca.

Sintamei, Mariah and Rebecca know that whatever life throws at them whether in marriage, career or relationships , they always have each other.

Single Kiasi has been adapted from popular South African series Unmarried and becomes the second Showmax Original series in Kenya after the Kalasha-nominated legal drama Crime and Justice.

It also stars other famous names such as; Brian Abajah (Sincerely Daisy), Michael Munyoki (A Grand Little Lie), Lucarelli Onyango (Crime and Justice), Mburu Kimani (Nairobi Half Life), Lenana Kariba (Selina), Dora Nyaboke (Crime and Justice) and Jacky Kaboi (Bait).
